Possible reason


Light of standby mode indicator is off

Power adaptor is not connected to the mains or receiver.

Make sure the power adopter cord is connected securely to the mains.
Check the power adopter cord connection to the receiver.

Receiver is connected through the extender and power switch of the extender is in the Off mode.

Turn on the power switch.

No signal

Antenna is unplugged.

Check antenna connection.

Either antenna is damaged or not properly oriented.

Check antenna direction.

Damage of cable between the antenna and the receiver. Possibly there is an improper connection at the cable system.

Make sure the cable is in good condition, and all the connections are properly joined.

The local broadcast signal of digital TV is very weak.

Refer to the seller or the digital TV specialist.

An active antenna is connected and it needs feeding through signal cable.

Activate the power supply at the receiver menu, refer section 6.2.1.

No picture or sound

Wrong input is selected at the TV for the receiver connection.

Select the proper input at the TV for the receiver connection.
Check cables.

Connector is not properly joined.

Check if the cable is properly joined to the TV outputs. Disconnect the receiver and the TV from the mains. Disconnect the cable, joining the receiver and TV, from both equipments. Connect the cable again and make sure it is properly and tightly connected.

Picture with dotted lines, audio noise or audio drops out

Weak signal level due to worsening of weather conditions.

For the stable signal reception with bad weather conditions, you might need to replace your antenna with one having better parameters.

Antenna is damaged or iced over. The cable from the antenna to the receiver is damaged.

Check if antenna and cable are not damaged.

Indoor antenna was bent and did not provide proper signal level.

Place antenna in primary coverage zone. Check the level and the quality of a signal (refer section 6.4.1).

Power supply of indoor active antenna is turned off.

Activate the antenna supply at the receiver menu (refer section 6.2.1).

Message about encrypted channel

Channel is encrypted

Probably the channel is not in the packet of channels you are subscribed to. Refer to broadcast operator service.

Remote control does not operate the receiver

Check the batteries expiry date.

Keep the remote control sensor area clear from obstacles.


The receiver is turned off.

Replace the batteries.

Point the remote control at the infrared sensor.
Take away the obstacles from sensor area.
Turn the receiver off and on.

Loss of password of the blocked channel
